Mobio Cheap Gas
As a professional female wrestler and very busy mom of 4 boys, I am here to tell you that I rely on the Mobio to provide me with up to date information on where is the cheapest gas for me to fill up. I am using the ATT Samsung Rugby phone, my sons have dropped the phone so many times. But most of all even on the tiny little LCD screen, I can read the information on the Mobio app. I am directionally-challenged, and I was still able to find the cheapest gas price without having to roll down the window to ask a local.
As one of the most sophisticated gas price widgets, Mobio collects the constantly updated information from its partner, Gas Price Watch. Over 100,000 gas stations nationwide have data available on Mobio, and about 350,000 price changes update the widget each week.
While similar apps are available from wireless service providers like Verizon Wireless, Mobio is free and easy to use. Any free facebook phone will allow you to access the widget.
Gas Cubby
This powerful app is so helpful we couldn’t help but share information about it. Gas Cubby basically offers you the ability to track all kinds of information about your fuel consumption.
When you reach the gas station, you click on a gas icon to begin a new fueling record. Then, choose your vehicle and enter info like your odometer reading, whether this is a full or partial fill-up, the octane grade, cost, and how many gallons purchased. If you want, you can even choose which gas brand you are using, the station location, payment type, and tire pressure.
This is where Gas Cubby gets fun. Based on your data, you can view a series of graphs that will display all kinds of information. You can track miles per gallon over time, and take a look at it in increments of 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, you name it. There’s also a line that indicates your miles/gallon average.
Another graph is the “Gas Stats Chart”, which shows you the data totals for up to 15 variables like total costs, maximum and minimum miles per gallon, cost per mile, and miles per day.
Gas Cubby allows you to enter in service records and set reminders that will let you know when you procrastinated on that oil change.
A great app, we look forward to more updates from Gas Cubby in the future. Use your free best cell phone and discover the widget’s powerful tools.??
